That bonded us together forever even though we did not see each other for years. When we were together ,it was if we were never apart.she was a kind,, loving and caring person and I will miss her calls . Barb amazed me with her instant recall of names, places and events of long ago.hugs and kisses to you ,Barb..I will dearly miss you

Regret that we can not be there to celebrate Aunt Barbara's life. She meant so much to so many. Only time will fill those voids. Memories have been flooding through my mind ever since hearing the sad news: I can never see her again. At times she was like a second mother to us, and later like an old friend. Good-by Aunt B.

A note to Barbara's family. We had the great fortune to know Barbara since 1996. Barbara could talk me into just about everything...and she did. I served with her in elected positions on the Dunwoody North Garden Club, Dunwoody North Civic Association and the Dunwoody Tour of Gardens fundraiser. Whatever she persuaded me into doing, she was right there working too. We loved going out to lunch, to the theater, and sometimes just sitting on my porch for a glass (or many!!) of wine. She was a great gal pal. My live is a better one because Barbara was in it. Gone but never forgotten. RIP my dear friend.

On my dear, dear friend Barb. I feel such sadness and void in my life with your passing. You were younger than me and not supposed to go first! And so quickly with no time for a final word or good-bye. Oh, how I will miss your multitude of e-mails, your warm and friendly phone calls, playing cards with you every Friday with your witty manner and comments , your smile, and your many kindnesses to my grandchildren. You were someone I could share so many memories with and depend on your expert advice and opinion whenever I neede it. We both shared such strong feelings for our families and especially our grandchildren. We even shared some grandchildren with the same last name!! Each time I pick up a glass of wine you will be in my thoughts. May you rest in peace my BFF and may God bless your Ralph, Katha, Patti, and Al and all of the grandchildren. May He give them the strength to get through the many sad days to follow and help them to remember the many good times you all shared. Lovingly, Sally Soderberg

She was the leader of out little group in the garden club as well as our go to person in the neighborhood . We will still meet on Fridays for cards, but it will never be the same. Love to all. Betty

To the wonderful family of Barbara Dodds: I feel like I know all of you as Barbara has talked about all of you over the past 18 years that I have known her. She has always been so proud of your achievements. She would show us the latest pictures or talk about your adventures. Barbara was a dear friend to me. She was always caring and sensitive other people's needs. She was there to share your joy and there to support you in difficult times. I loved when LBA, Little Barbara Ann, came out to play. She was always good for a laugh. Barbara did not mince words. She was always honest and I had high regard for her integrity. I was privileged to also know her in her role on two Boards, Dunwoody North Civic Association and on the Dunwoody Homeowners Association. She was devoted to both of these organizations. I will miss my Indian Princess who liked to throw out Yiddish and Hebrew expressions. It was a joke between us. Our weekly card games were never dull. Barbara, our score keeper, was always good for a laugh. Cards won't be the same without her. There is a hole in my heart for her and for all of you. May G-d be with you and give you strength during your grieving and to face what you have ahead of you. Love, Gerri Penn
