    GUILDERLAND - Randall F. Hallenbeck, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019, surrounded by his loving family in Cumming, GA. Born in Guilderland, NY, Randall graduated from the former Draper High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He attended Empire State College where he graduated with a degree in accounting. Randall was an auditor for the NYS Thruway Authority, and later the NYS Education Department. He and his wife were active members of Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church. Randall enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing the mandolin, square dancing, gardening, camping, traveling, and owning his own tax business. After retirement, he and his wife resided in Port Charlotte, FL where he was active in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, played in the Gulf Coast Banjo Band, and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. Randall is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Alexander) of 63 years, daughter, Sandy (Peter) Schuster of Cumming, GA, and grandchildren, Chris Schuster of Lexington, KY and Erin Schuster of Atlanta, GA, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his son, Randy Hallenbeck, and brother, Wendell Hallenbeck. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3pm at Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church, 2291 Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY 12303. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful care given by The Benton House of Sugar Hill and Seasonís Hospice & Palliative Care.     We are sorry to hear of Randall's passing. We have many fond memories of our times together. One of which was attending a banjo concert when visiting in Port Charlotte. Also the years Randall was our tax preparer. May fond memories help you through the trying days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you

    Dear Family please fine some comfort from Godís word. Iím so sorry for your loss, may Godís promised hope of everlasting life were death will be no more give you some peace. John 17:3; Revelation 21:4. He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. Isaiah 25:8.
